Level 1 Reading Readiness Summer Camp. PreSchool. M-F.  9 a.m.- 9:30 am. This 30 minute interactive group teletherapy session explicitly teaches the phonemic awareness skills using the Heggerty methodology to build foundational literacy skills. The focus is on hearing and manipulating sounds and syllables. Being able to listen to, recognize, and manipulate sounds is important when learning to read. Children will mimic sounds, words, sounds, and special hand movements.  Letter names and sounds are targeted each session. This is a multi-modal approach to phonemic awareness. No make ups.  Limit 6 students.

Level 2 Reading Readiness Summer Camp . Entering Kindergarten.  M-F.  9:45 a.m.- 10:15 am. This 30 minute interactive group teletherapy session explicitly teaches the phonemic awareness skills using the Heggerty methodology to build foundational literacy skills.  Being able to listen to , recognize, and manipulate sounds is important when learning to read.  It expands the phonemic awareness skills by introducing word substitutions and introduces language awareness skills including number of words in the sentence. Children will actively listen and using their voice and special hand movements.  Letter names and sounds are targeted each session. No make ups. Limit 8 students.

Level 3 Polishing those Phonemic Awareness Skills for Reading. Entering 1st grade or 2nd grade.  M-F.  10:30 a.m.- 11:00 am. This 30 minute interactive group teletherapy session continues to practice phonemic awareness skills using the Heggerty methodology to build foundational literacy skills. Children determine if two words rhyme, separate initial and final sounds, blend and segment words, add and delete syllables of words, and ultimately form new words with syllable sustitutions.  Kids enjoy the various skill challenges. ls by introducing word substitutions and introduces language awareness skills including number of words in the sentence. Letter names and sounds are practiced for speed and accuracy each session. targeted each session. Language awareness skills are targeted.  Different voice intonations will be practiced including changing your voice to indicate you are asking a question, making a statement, or have excitement. No make ups. Limit 8 students.

Articulation Mini Bootcamp.  3 Days-  20 minute sessions daily. Time to be scheduled with therapist. Does your child substitute sounds or have difficulty producing certain sounds?  This bootcamp individual teletherapy session is 3 days of articulation/phonological processes drills.  Accurate practice is key to remediating incorrect sound production.  Jump start your articulation progress with Articulation Bootcamp. No make up sessions.  Initial screening included.

Language Mini Bootcamp.  3-Days.  20 minute sessions daily. Time to be scheduled with therapist. Does your child need to build receptive or receptive language skills?  Does your child have an IEP during the school year and you would like to continue working on the goals to prevent summer skill regression?  This bootcamp allows for multiple days of practice for targeted language skills.   It may be titled bootcamp, but it's a lot of fun.  Language skills are practiced with visual supports and interactive activities. . No make up sessions.  Initial screening included.
